Dropped Ring finger
« on: December 15, 2007, 12:38:39 PM »
I'm looking to make a change in my grip to gain more axis tilt.  I'm only looking to drop my ring finger a 1/16 compared to my middle finger.  So my overall span would be 4 5/16 x 4 1/4.  Should I change my thumb pitch with this adjustment?  Looking for some advise on this so any replies are greatly appreciated.

what are your present finger and thumb pitches you can make some adjustments there to add tilt. What is your present measured tilt?

My fingers are 1/2l x 1/2r lateral and 1/4 and 3/8 reverse. My thumb is 1/8 under and 1/16th rev.  I don't know the present measurement on axis tilt I'm looking to make it easier to lead with the middle finger.  I'm also hearing that dropping the ring will allow more of a spinning affect.
