Hey all, have a couple of questions about drilling
First, is an asymetrical ball stronger with a weaker drilling than a symetrical ball with a stronger drilling?
Second, does moving the pin further away from one's PAP increase the balls read of the lane sooner? The reason I ask this,is I have seen some balls drilled lately that have the pin a long ways, 4.5 to 5.5 inches away, from the pap.

The layout I put above would be for a lefty, with the PIN/PAP distance being around 5", what benefits present themselves?
Thanks everyone.

All I can say about the drilling you present to us is, that this is a typical "long and strong" drilling for most bowlers. As to your symmetrical vs. asymmetrical question, I think Bull Red answered it nicely.
Every bowler is different. Pin to Pap are different; revs are different; speeds are different, etc., so the experiences will be different as well.
