Title: Using a ball scale instructions
Post by: D Scott Johnson on October 05, 2005, 06:17:11 AM
I just acquired a Ball Scale and was wondering if anyone would have any instructions for exactly how to use it.  I have a reasonably good idea but would love to read something for confirmation and further education.  Thanks.

One thing that is not included in the instructions on the Jayhawk site is how to find the cg.  That information is included with drilling instructions for any Lane 1 ball and can also be found on their website.  --  JohnP

Thats fine but how can you use that with other ball companies equipment?

The procedure to locate cg is not company specific.  Lane 1 does use a likeness of their logo to demonstrate how to do it, but they sure wouldn't use Brunswick's.  Just orient the ball's logo (where you think the cg is located) as they show theirs, then follow the instructions, rotating the ball you're using and drawing the lines the same way the drawings show.  --  JohnP
