Post by: storm making it rain on August 18, 2009, 03:11:32 AM
i just ordered the IT starter package, my drill press is a standard bench press.  when i drill the larger hole to the bottom of the bit stopper, im already at my deepest depth on the press to drill the 1/2" molly hole.  anyone else have this problem?  thanks in advance

I ended going out and getting a longer bit ( i drill on an old sidewiner). The longer bit cured the problem

thanks i ended up adjusting my press downwards (like i should have thought of before) so far i like the system, just have to be conscious on letting the glue set on all parts before pulling the setter out

I would suggest you go to Viseinserts.com and watch the IT vids. They suggest removing the tool as soon as you set the safety molly insert!

If they are hard to turn the pro shop hasnt filed the hole enough, and if they are not flush they need to cut it down then work it like a regular insert.
