Title: Vise IT removal question
Post by: EboHammer4ever on August 12, 2011, 04:48:32 AM
Hi fellow balldrillers.  I had a quick question.  Have any of you tried to reuse the Ball -IT part of the IT once your trying to get rid of a ball?  I have a couple I'm trying to sell and wondering if the Ball-IT could be re-used or is it a one shot deal?  Any opinions would be welcome.

Thanx.

I would NOT try and reuse the Ball-It. If installed correctly I would think it is impossible!

Use "IT" and BOWL UP A STORM!!

I believe that they cannot be removed as you have to installe the molly expander. I know there are cretain things you can do to them to tighten them if they become loose or slip, but I think they are one and done. I have not removed one from any of the about 50 balls I have drilled last season. A couple have changed hands from person to person and if the person did not want the IT, I either drilled out the ball-it and plugged it, or i just installed a new slug into the sleeve and drilled out the new slug.
