complementary drilling on TNV
« on: March 03, 2007, 05:17:51 PM »
I just got a TNV, drilled pin over middle finger, MB 1'' right of thumb, left the ball box surface (believe 4000 abralon with polish). I really like the reaction this gives me and I would like to drill up another TNV, but with a complementary layout which will hook more and be smoother off the dry. Would you recommend the same layout with more surface, or a different layout all together? Thanks.

I would put the pin down and move the mass a little closer to your PAP.  This will give you a smoother motion down the lane.  Also keep it at 2000 abralon.

i would go with drilling #3 on the sheet, maybe a slightly stronger MB position than it calls for.

try it OOB, see how u like the way it rolls in comparison to your other TNV, & adjust the surface accordingly.

Im currently doing this, 1 is the TJ layout, OOB, the 2nd will be drilling #1 & ill take it to 1000abralon+polish.
