Drill pattern for Hi Flare Scout Urethane
«

Bought this ball for drier lanes conditions. Would it be a mistake to put a medium/strong drilling on it (4"x4"). I hate to kill the ball but I don't want it too aggressive where I can't use it for I intend to.
Any info appreciated.

Is it the red/blue one? I'd drill it strong, since the polished urethane will not grip in any oil, and the high RG will prevent an early roll. I have a Slate Blue Gargoyle (Similra ball, lower RG and differential) stacked leverage - I was sceptical at first if this was too much, but the ball is very smooth and needs this extra flare "kick" to move at all and have a strong finish. 4x4 sounds good to me!
