placing pin placing pin on ur pap would cause what

Am i thinking right here the farther left u place the pin the more back end it has ? and its like this ?

Pin on PAP is the most stable drilling with the earliest roll and smoothest reaction. Drillings like this are generally best on wet/dry conditions when you are trying to tone down the reaction when the ball encounters friction.

You have it right the closer to PAP the earlier and smoother the roll and vise versa. The distance that the pin is above the grip center line also has an affect. A 5x5 pin above fingers will have more length and snap than a 5x5 pin under.

The further away you place the pin from your axis, the later the ball will flare on the lane. Max flare is 3 3/8", just as you said. The closer you place the pin to your axis, the earlier the ball will flare. So, further away, more backend, closer earlier roll, with hook-set.

To elaborate think of it as a rolling pin.

This would be placing the pin on PAP and if you visualize it rolling down the
lane you can see it would be very stable.

This would be if you placed the pin in your track and it would want to lope or
try and accelerate/decelerate as the core ends are reaching the top and bottom
giving it more length and the longest axis migration time.
