How does PIN beside ring compare with PIN under ring?
« on: July 23, 2006, 02:03:02 PM »
You know how everybody says that PIN's under the ring makes the ball stand up earlier? Well would ball's with the PIN 1/2"-1" right of the ring finger do the same thing since that PIN position makes the ball have the most flare potential (helping itflare alot and get into a roll early)?

What's the difference?

BUT only with respect to the same ball thrown by the same bowler on the same oil pattern with the pin above the rign finger.
NOT compared to any other ball or to the same ball thrown by another bowler.

Who knows?
It depends exactly on where the bowler's PAP is, NOT where the bowler's finger holes are.
That pin position can have more flare or less flare, depending on where the PAP is.

I just put the pin IN my ring finger and shoot 300...

just move the cg/mb around till you get the reaction you like...

so much simplier....
