I would say that if the ball works for what you want it to do, disregard what anyone says about your release. You do not have to have a strong release in order to score.

Thanks for your response. Actually it's not my release the weak thing. when I first have my ball drilled, I was always wondering WHY? it has so poor carry, because I set it on the pocket most of the time and leave most of the back pins or even the king. I play with a ROCK ON (columbia) too but I use it for heavy oil lanes because it's sanded also I recently bought and have drilled a WILD ball(columbia) to use in dry lanes. This two balls have better carry than my ROCK STAR. It wasn't my intention to have a weak ball, it was just drilled that way I don't know why!. I know we can get a strike even with our plastic spare ball but.....why don't use the technology of modern bowling  balls to hepl ourself with the game?
