Is there a valid comparison to be made betwen the concept of a thumb positive weight hole vs a re-drill? For example, would it be fair to say "A weight hole of ______ dimension in the thumb positive quadrant would have an approximate effect equal to redrilling a 5x4 to more like _____ (4x4 or whatever) since both will cause the ball to break X feet sooner and with slightly more snap?"
