For CG location, you need a do-do scale (and knowledge how to use it), for the MB or PSA, a DeTerminator is the proper tool - even though a spinner with a simple, slippery ball cup will produce similar results.

Here's a link to the Lane 1 website's instructions on how to locate cg.  They use their logo to demonstrate (surprise!), but it can be used on any ball.  If you need to, draw a facsimile of their logo on your ball.

Dizzy's correct, you have to have a determinator to check mb location.  Most mb markings are actually a second pin used to position the core in the mold, and are correct.  --  JohnP
