when putting a weight hole in a ball, what will a wide & shallow hole do campared to a deep & narrow hole?? will there be a big difference when putting either of them on your pap line or your val line??

You should check out www.morichbowling.com. Especially the article on gradient line balance holes. It will explain everything very well. I have experimented with Mo's weight hole placements, and they really work! If you have a ball with the right specs, the double thumb drilling is very dynamic, also!

Deeper holes tend to hit the core and create asymmetry. That would affect the ball farther downlane.
