In theory, the ball will have a longer hook phase.
In practice, you won’t SEE the difference at all. The balls will roll so close to the same that you won’t be able to tell them apart without surface changes. They’ll work on the exact same conditions.
If you take that VAL angle to 70, there might be a big enough difference for a perceptible change in ball motion. In my experience, even with that big of a change the balls will still overlap on oil volume, but the shape may change enough to fine tune carry. Core shape will play a role in this though, especially in a case like the Crux core that was designed to maintain the reaction shape to make it drilled friendly.
