Question on 1 1/2 pin to pap

Could anyone explain the difference between this pin placement with 1) the cg stacked and 2) the cg in the cgip center?  I have an Inertia, asym, with the pin 1 1/2 from pap, cg slightly above grip center, and the MB left of thumb near track.  I really like this layout for the heavier, longer patterns.  It revs up and gets into a roll pretty early and has an overall smooth arc.

One of my favorite layouts is a 1.5" pin stacked 1.5" from pap; so you have a triangle, Pin-Pap-CG all 1.5" apart, pin on line from PAP to finger.  As you said, early revving, smooth arcing reaction.  About as even a reaction as I know how to get.  I've never tried a 1.5" pin w/ cg in grip center, so that part of your question I can't answer.

Assuming that the MB is in line with the pin and cg, the ball would probably have a little less length with the stacked drilling you mention, but be a little stronger. Also, depending on topweight, getting the ball legal for positive sideweight could be difficult. On an asymmetric core however, the MB is what matters more.

I am refering to a symmetrical ball.  Sorry for not mentionong this before.

1) Pin 1 1/2 from pap with cg in grip center
2) Pin 1 1/2 from pap with cg stacked under pin

Just curious of the differences.  I am considering this drill for a pba experience league, Shark pattern, with a Fury.  Everyone has to use the Fury and the Radical.  The radical will be drilled for Cheetah.

With a symmetric core the same would apply as my earlier post, only less so. Hope this helps.
