If you have a solid ball, like a Hammer Red Legend Solid or the new Ebonite Warrior Elite, and you drill it with the pin about 2" to 2 1/2" from your PAP, what kind of reaction should you expect? Also, would this drilling work on a medium to medium heavy oil pattern?
Thanks.

I guess 1 question that should be asked first is what's your PAP? That can help with giving a clearer answer with the layout.

I am not an expert but this info says the reaction is determined by the mass bias distance to pap, and not only pin distance to pap.

Hope this helps :)

Flare is reduced, so you'd see more length and less hook overall.

So the bowlers release and speed doesn't have anything to do with it. Just depending on the bowlers speed, lane condition, etc. that ball could roll out at 40" or skid clean through the pin deck. You all quite handing out this BS info.

Nothing I said was BS. All things being equal, he'd see less flare and less overall hook.
OP didn't ask "What reaction would I see if I drilled a 2" pin to pap, added 3 mph to my ball speed, took some hand out of it, and added axis rotation?"
