Finger holes running into each other...
« on: January 16, 2006, 01:52:51 PM »
I have a ball that the finger holes have ran into each other because they were drilled too close to zero pitch.  The ball is still in tact through the coverstock and doesn't open up till an 1/8" into the second layer.  Does this have a higher probability to crack or have any other issues or will this be ok?

I have several balls drilled in a way that the finger holes meet each other at the bottom of the drillings. No problems with cracking bridges so far, after almost 2 years with the oldest ball among them.

Thanks for the responses.  I'll cross my fingers on this one.
