That's my question.
I am constantly hearing from my peers about how they didn't bowl well because they developed a blister, or how after x number of games during a tourney a blister split open, etc etc.
You hear this complaint all the time, and amazingly people just deal with it only to have the same problem again and again. So my question is, why don't people try changing their grip??
I've gone 3 years without blistering. I can bowl all night long and NEVER develop any epidermal problems. I used to be like everyone else, and used to get blisters from gripping the ball or having the ball just not fit right, so I changed things.
Are people simply afraid of change?

I'm neither good, nor consistent, which is why I bowl.

I had a guy on my team like that. One of his fingers had the wrong pitch and just tore up the side by the finger nail. I pointed out that the pitch was wrong. He didn't want to get it changed because he had been bowling great the way it was.
