Hey guys. Wanted to know if the Wizard plug will react differently if it gets too hot. The pump in the Part B (white liquid) became frozen, probably because of not using it in a couple months or from the fact that I rinsed out the pump assembly. Does this react with water and harden up? Anyway, I had to measure by hand and thought I was dead on, but when I mixed it up and poured it into the thumb, it bubbled for a minute then started to expand and overflow. Can you not mix this by hand or something else? It was 90 here on Monday and fairly warm in our plugging room. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and do you notice your pump in the white liquid getting stuck? Thanx guys.

I knew there was a reason I never tried Wizard Plug. If that happens at 90, not much telling what would happen out here in the desert ! Good Luck !

I wash my pumps each time I change bottles, never had any problems with PowerHouse or Tech Line, that's all I use.

Never allowed any to freeze.

I had the same type of problem when my wizard plug got old , Around 1 year.

I made several slugs / inserts with no problems , but when i didnt use it for several months i noticed that the pumpes where clogged and i finnally got them to work using a small piece of wire and worked out the harden material.

But it never worked right again. I even tried using less hardner and it still bubbled up and ran over.

Sorry to say but its time to throw it away.

I have had that happen a couple of times but I thought it was the cold instead of the heat.First thing is to make sure to have the cap on the bottle at all time when not in use.When not going to use it for a while at least shake it up good every week or so.If nothing else make a solid slug or something.If your pump is clogged,take it apart to get all of the clumped white stuff out.If you have that stuff in the bottle of hardener strain it and then get it shaken or stirred real well.See if that works,if it doesn't help use more harder.I f that doesn't work call Ultimate.They just sent me about 1/2 bottle of the hardener and a new pump because I had the same problem but them ask me to try the steps described above first.Hope this helps!!

I have the same problem with mine. Have not used but about 1/4 of the bottle. It bubbles no matter how I mix it. The pump froze and I can not get it unfrozen.

I don't use the pumps. I pour each part into different, smaller containers and keep the gallon jugs sealed.

Wizard plug does not like water, the heat doesn't really bother it, the humidity does.
