Looking chill on the lanes is what the DV8 Chill upper-mid performance bowling ball is all about. This ball utilizes a solid Inciter Max Flip coverstock with a symmetric Diva 2.0 core, good-looking colors, and a backend reaction that really isn't that chill. This technology combination makes an ideal benchmark ball that performs well on various lane conditions.

Chill – Various House Patterns and 40ft Flat Sport Pattern

Chill is the first ball out the bag for me right now.  Easy to read, gets through the pins, and just mild enough.  When bowling on the house patterns I can stay straighter and cover less boards with the Chill, if I have to move in and the friction/dry is allowing me to see continuation through the pins then I am sticking with it all night.  The versatility of the cover is really what makes me happy.  I have sanded the ball with 500/1000 I have also let it lane shine.  Both covers work playing the correct part of the lane.  I thought with the surface it would be to early it isn’t, I also thought with the surface it would be DOA at the pins it wasn’t.  That is impressive, polished is different which it should be.  Good length if that is what you want depending on the layout it shouldn’t DIVE off the spot.  The 40 ft sport pattern was a challenge I used the Chill with box surface in practice and couldn’t get it to face up playing in which is cool.  Playing straight was good but didn’t have that drive through the pins I wanted.  I can see where the Chill is a go/no go on sport.  One thing to like about a ball like that you know right away if this is going to be the ball to fight with or live to fight another day.
