The original Diva is my favorite ball ever (I've had 5 of them with 2 still in my tournament only bag) and any ball with that core is a welcome addition to my bag, especially when it is paired with a variation of the cover from my ever loved Vandal! Reading what other staffers had to say about it being so quick off the friction, I went with a layout of 55x4.5x40 (pin over ring) as the ball had a 3-4" pin so I couldn't go pin down.
Thus far I have used the Diva XOXO on 4 different patterns: a 39' Middle Road, 37' Kegel Broadway, 42' Stone Street and 44' High Street. On all of the patterns my best look with the Diva XOXO was playing a light swing during games 3-4. What really impressed stood out about using this ball was just how versatile it is. Swung to the ditch on 37' it looked good, as it did playing tight on the longer, heavier walls with tighter angles and more forward roll. My best look so far with this ball was on the toughest of the 4 patterns, Middle Road, where I was able to get into 3 arrow and feather the ball right with both the length to hold the line in along with recovery if I got the ball to the track early.
As far as overall shape, the XOXO gives me a couple feet more length than my tall pin Diva with a strong roll in the midlane along with a slightly stronger angle on the backend. It is a little stronger and definitely less sensitive to oil than the Diva Pearl, but a little longer/weaker than the Vandal. By reading reviews and the marketing on this ball, I totally expected a hockey stick type reaction, but although this ball can cover some territory down lane, it is not nearly as responsive off the dry as my Deviant or Melee Jab.
So far I have been very happy with the Diva XOXO and see it being a go to ball for me during the mid to late portions of blocks on a wide variety of lane conditions.
