The DV8 Decree Solid has been a really nice surprise for me! It takes the Command Symmetric core from the Turmoil series, and combines it with the Composite Fang solid cover from the Pitbull series. What you end up getting is a ton of ball for the price point!
My only complaints about the Turmoils was at times I wished the covers weren't quite as clean as they were. Enter the Composite Fang cover, and instantly you get an upgrade in strength! I will say too that it took the Decree about 10 games worth of laneshine before this ball really came to life. Once it did, it has been hard to get that ball out of my hands in centers with med conditions. It's strong enough to start with, and chase the oil line left as it breaks down.
My overall thoughts on the Decree Solid is it is just a great benchmark piece. I love the fact that as a brand we are starting to progress our stronger covers down through the lower levels of our lines, I feel this helps tremendously with customers knowing what they are getting before they spend money.
If you loved any of the Pitbull series, and the strength of those covers, you'll love the Decree as well! You really can't go wrong with the Decree Solid on medium to medium light volumes!
