Its no secret that I loved the original Blue / Silver Freakshow.  Its been a mainstay in my bag since it was released.  It just got a baby brother in the FLIP.  This ball may fly under your radar a little, but its priced to fly off the shelves with WAY more performance than the price point implies.  Super clean through the front, this ball has a TON of motion down lane when it sees friction.  This is a perfect piece to call on when you want to bank it off the dry, or need a more defined, strong motion down lane.  No fancy drillings or layouts, this ball has everything it needs built into it.  Worth every penny and more!

The DV8 Freakshow Flip gives any bowler everything you have come to love from the Freakshow line, with added movement off the spot! The Freakshow Flip provides bowlers extremely consistent roll with a backend pop that is needed on many conditions. I personally find this ball better used on medium-dry conditions because of my ball speed, but I can tell you this ball will fit any average bowler’s game on any condition. This symmetrical core ball can be thrown from multiple angles and should be a perfect fit for league or competitive bowler.

The Freakshow Flip is already receiving rave reviews from our National Touring PBA and PWBA members. This is a must have ball to go to when you need a very consistent roll that is predictable and provides great hitting power at the pocket. The Freakshow Flip’s ball motion can be classified as very smooth and very predictable down the lane. The layout for this ball is pin 3”-5” from PAP. Ball has tremendous control with this layout.

The DV8 Freakshow Flip is a ball you cannot go wrong with. I highly encourage bowlers at all levels to check out this incredible new release! The universal release date for the new DV8 Freakshow Flip is 7/11/17. DV8….If you are not throwing DV8, you’re just not bowling! #brunswickbowling, #dv8bowling, #radicalbowling technologies

COMMENTS
Freakshow Flip is the answer to the Freakshow line I have been looking for.  The Freakshow Flip skids through the fronts and midlane and has the super flip motion of the original Freakshow I laid mine out to read the midlane a little sooner but maintain the super flip motion on the backend.  Freakshow Flip is a must have ball in your game.

The one thing I like about this ball is how much performance you get out of it for its price! The Freakshow flip is a good versatile ball when it comes to medium to light oil conditions. This ball stores energy well through the heads and makes a strong change of direction on the backends and there is no loss of energy when it hits the pins.
I drilled this ball out 5 1/2 inches off my axis point (puts the pin straight above the bridge) with no weight hole. This ball for me and the layout I used, it gives me good length for a broken down track area when I have to start moving right (I am left Handed) and open up the lane to get something to skid through that head oil into the dry part of the track area.
If you are a beginner bowler with a slow ball speed I would highly recommend looking at this ball. It will fit your style of play very well!

DV8 Freakshow Flip

55x5x25

The Freakshow Flip is one of the best “mid priced” balls I’ve ever used. This ball is super versatile and has been one of my favorite balls to throw. I have used this at 1,000 grit all the way up to a high gloss finish. The Freakshow Flip takes what ever you throw at it. You never lose the shape, it just gets bigger and meaner. This Freakshow is right at home on medium to light oil patterns or anything 41 feet or less. Watching Shannon O’Keefe and Sean Rash use it this summer with great success really opened my eyes on what this ball could do. Drilling one up for myself only solidified what I thought.  The Flip is a Flipping money ball. I used this ball a lot in our summer sport league, as well as in my fall leagues.  I keep mine lightly sanded at 2000 grit to combat the extreme wet/dry 41ft THS.  It has bailed me out of several jams already. For a ball like this at this price point… it’s a home run. If you’re looking for a new ball and don’t want to spend $200+… I would highly recommend the Freakshow Flip.

Here is the new addition to the Feakshow serie, the Freakshow flip.  This ball offers the same core as the other ball in the serie but the coverstock has projection and flip additive.   The ball is designed for medium to light oil lane condition.

I drilled mine 65x4”x65.  I drilled it this way to avoid the ball to be too over / under because that’s the kind of problems I tend to have with weaker coverstock.  On the lane, I play the Flip one board right with my feet and one board right with my eyes.  The balls offer more length because the coverstock is weaker but still offers a great backend.  Compared to my Alley Cat, I play the Flip two boards left with my feet and one board left with my eyes.

For people with more speed, the ball can be sanded to have more traction.  That’s what Shannon O’keefe did to win the  St. Petersburg-Clearwater Open and the Tour Championship (a Major).

To conclude, if you wanna have a great backend and a lot of performance for an affordable price, the Freakshow Flip is your choice.

The DV8 Freakshow Flip is a lot of ball for this price range. I was thinking that I would use this mostly on med dry- dry lanes and I was wrong, this ball is strong. I used this ball right OOB and shot 784 that night with just a great look start to finish. This ball has goodbye length and is strong off the spot, this is my favorite ball to use right now on THS

Likes: stronger than I originally thought it would be, great hitting power

Dislikes: nothing

I drilled mine with the pin over the bridge and the CG 1.5 inches under the bridge.

The Freak Show Flip is an incredible option of you need a medium to light oil pearl ball. It is exactly the perfect compliment to the Freak Show Solid, which is an incredible benchmark ball. This ball will clear the front of the lane with ease, and if going to go extremely hard off the break point. I've never had any issue with a weak hit from this ball. It hits the pins extremely hard and drives through the pin deck with a heavy roll exactly like it should. I polished mine for the extra length (I also polished my Freak Show Solid), and to keep it as the compliment to the Freak Show Solid. If you need a good hard hitting pearl, to give you some extra length on medium to short oil, or on the burn, this ball is definitely for you. Buy the Freak Show Flip today.
