I drilled my Terror identical to my Revenge and in my opinion the Terror gets down the lane an extra 3-5 feet and still has a very strong, angular motion on the back end. I like the backend motion even on extremely deep angles as the ball still has the continual motion through the pins. I think it complements the Revenge really well if you need more length and with strong backend.

Likes: DV8 stepped up and answered the one thing I wanted from them with this ball. To simply describe this ball I like to use the phrase " long and strong." It gets through the front part of the lane so easily. It will even do it on lighter oil if you keep a good fresh coat of polish on it. The Terror is so fast off the break point, that pins just do not stand a chance. It retains so much energy going through the pins that it just destroys everything in its path. This has become the number 1 ball out of my bag.


Dislikes: Sometimes you can get on a streak of stone 9 pins (right hander) or 8's for the lefties. I really have no complaints about this ball. I'll own a second one soon.

Comments: Clean through the heads. Reads extremely well on the backend. Ball will match up very well on house conditions. Takes well to surface adjustments.

Have had the Hellraiser Terror now for a few months and am completely satisfied with the results so far.  The ball design is an aggressive one with distinct downlane motion.  I've thrown this ball the majority of the time on the USBC White pattern at 41 feet.  With an aggressive layout for good length and a strong move on the backend of the lane, the Hellraiser Terror provides significant entry angles from even the deepest parts of the lane.  No striking power is sacrificed playing inside angles. 

The ball would be best used for medium to heavier applications of oil/patterns.  As the lanes deteriorate and the heads burn up, the balls backend recovery allows me to shuffle my feet left and retain power in the pocket. 

With any ball, I want a consistent, and predictable ball motion and the Terror provides that.  I have enjoyed throwing this ball and am confident when it's good off my hand, there is a good chance all 10 are going down in 60 feet.

I would recommend this ball for players looking for strong ball motion on the backend of the lane, or players with lower rev rates wanting more ball reaction.  For comparison, the overall hook is less than the Hellraiser Revenge, which I use strictly for heavy oil.  The Marauder is also a good step down from the Terror as far as overall reaction.

Comments:
   As a stroker player with a lower rev rate (high 200's) I have always had a problem getting a ball to recover when I have to move left into more oily parts of the lane. This ball solved all those problems for me, with the cleanest motion through the first 2/3 part of the lane and the recovery from anywhere on the lane. To this point in my bowling career i have never had a ball that hits the way that the Hell Raiser Terror does.  The ball creates a vortex into the pin deck and, even with the high polish finish this ball rarely leaves 10 pins. If anything I leave more 9 pins with this ball than anything else. If i had to describe this ball to anyone i would make a new term characteristic, which is skid  snap.

Hell Raiser Terror

With the Hell Raiser Terror I was looking for a strong ball and I could get to my break point without having it read the mids too early.  I drilled the Terror with the pin under the Bridge and the CG right of grip center with the Mass Bias in the strong position so I could get the ball through the heads easy and rely on it to be smooth off the break point.  At OOB finish I found it to be too smooth   off the break point for my liking.  It had too much over under look to it. So next time out with the ball I knocked the polish off the surface and kept the same grit and man this became a whole different ball for me.  The Terror  was real easy to get to my target and it was smooth but stronger   off the spot .  This surface gave the ball a continuous move through the pins.  the over under look was gone from the   ball.   I like this ball for when lanes start to transition but does not over  react because of the smooth  move it has down lane.

Likes:this is drilled similar to my dude. Pin in ring with cg negative. This is not as advertised. This has an extremely smooth reaction. It is a strong ball and needs at least medium oil to excel. I havve this between my nightmare and dude. I love the smooth  roll and hard hit. I do very well with this ball at oob polish.  I believe I added extra polish for added length snd is still very strong. I suggest this ball if you do not like angular and u wwnt controllable and smooth. I am one of those people
