Here is the new addition to the Rumor series, the Nasty Rumor. This ball uses the same core as the first Rumor but this time the ball is wrapped up with the Deception Pearl Plus cover stock to create more length and a sharper backend motion.
For this ball, I used a different drilling pattern. I made it at 70x4.5â€x75 with the pin under the bridge and no weight hole. The goal with this drilling was to create some length with a smooth transition on the back end. I wanted to be able to play that ball or drier lane conditions without being over/under just like I was able to play with my Vintage Inferno. Compared to the Creed Revelation, on the fresh, I play the Nasty 1 and 1 right. But when I play with the Revelation and it begins to over react, I play the Nasty in the same area and I can continue to strike. Compared to the Alley Cat, I play the Nasty 2 and 1 left. I get the same kind of shape but just more overall hook because of the stronger cover.
To conclude, what surprises me the more is how much hook and hitting power you can get at this affordable price. In bonus you get a really nice looking ball!
