I just purchased my first DV8 ball in a long while, a Outcast. When I opened the box, I found the ball in a drawstring plastic ball, with a foam ball cup at the bottom. It was an unusually large bag that could easily hold 2 balls but there was only one ball cup.

It's a large bag, made of heavy duty, black, flexible plastic (it has a rubber-like feel; in fact, the inside seems like it's waterproof due to an almost rubberized coating) , big enough to easily hold 2 balls+ shoes, but I'm not sure it's strong enough to hold that much weight. It has woven nylon strap, along the outside; the strap seems strong enough to carry 2 balls.

Outside in large white letters, it says "DV8 Tonight We Bowl".

I have never seen this or heard of this bag being included with DV8 balls before. Is this something new. It's nice but given its size and its composition, I'm not sure what its purpose is. It's certainly a nice freebie.

It was also marketed with the outcast. It's a single ball carry/tote.

Sorry, I keep confusing the two balls; I got the new Outcast. I never got one with the Misfit, but that was when it first came out.

Does anyone know its intended purpose?
Like I said, it doesn't seem quite strong enough to carry 2 balls, yet it is almost tube shaped, big enough to hold 2 balls.

I have one came with my spare ball. I believe it is made to fit one ball and one pair of shoe not two balls. The strings tho not so healthy doesn't close the gap all the way.
