I have a crack above and down my ring finger on my Hellraiser Revenge and have been hearing that they had issues with the compound in this ball when they were made. I'm attaching a picture so you can see what happened to mine. Anyone else encounter this and had issues making a warranty claim on them?

You run that risk when drilling an inch or less from the pin.

I have a friend who had one crack all around the finger and the shell separated from the core.

Dv8 has a 2 year warranty and they replaced it.

I received good news that they are replacing the Revenge and I get an upgrade to the Endless Nightmare. Not only that my ball driller will be drilling the EN for free since the finger holes were drilled to close to the pin causing the crack. I'm only going to be out the shipping to return the Revenge to bowlingball.com. Was very fortunate it worked out so well.

Same thing happened to me. They replaced the ball with no problem, since the Revenge was discontinued, they gave me a Nightmare.

A summer teammate of mine had the Revenge and his cracked.  It was replaced w/no issues though (I think he got another DV8 piece).

I told them I had a crack and they said they didn't care, we send you balls for free, jk, but I imagine thats what my ball rep would say.

For you that's great but when you have other competitive bowlers or league bowlers who have to buy their own equipment money does become an issue when you have to plop down $300 to purchase and drill a new ball and you hope to get at least 3 years use out of them. Don't forget where you came from. Not all of us have your fringe benefits.

Mine cracked on the bridge. They replaced it with a Nightmare. No problem.
