Hello!  The Brutal will be much longer and flippier that the Nightmare.  If you drilled the Brutal the same way, you're looking at about 4-5 boards more overall hook definitely a bit more length.  The Nightmare would be the ball to start with and when it starts burning up and hitting flat, move left and throw the Brutal to the dry and watch the pins fly!!  If you are looking to compliment the Nightmare and you like the reaction of that layout, drill it the same way. 

A weight hole is used to change reaction of the ball if needed. You can have your pro shop operator drill it with the intent of adding a weight hole to adjust the reaction. If you need more or less reaction, they can put the weight hole in a different position to get the desired reaction.  So, Yes a weight hold can make a ball hook more after the initial drilling.
