Could Rude Dude be set up to give an angular finish?
« on: October 26, 2014, 08:21:10 PM »
Everything I see on the Rude Dude so far has it strong, but more arcing.  If I use the DV8 "Big Flip" symmetrical layout, and smoother surface, could I get it to be controlled but more finish at the back end?

MOTIV Jackal LE .................40 x 4.5 x 40 p2.5
MOTIV Revolt Vengeance......45 x 4.0 x 50 p3
MOTIV Forza GT ..................50 x 4.0 x 70 p2.5
MOTIV Sigma Sting..............50 x 4.0 x 45 p3

Thanks all.  Its hard to really know what you,re getting or who to trust with all of the different opinions...proshop vs internet vs manufacturer....why would the manufacturer put out drill sheets with a description of ball reaction for that layout, if they don,t work for the average bowler?

I wish I had a bunch of money and could buy multiple balls .... 1 guess per year isnt cutting it.

All I can say is use your local pro shop as they know how you throw and conditions you throw on. If thy are not trustworthy for advice then there has to be one of the better bowlers in your area that can give you some guidance. Manufactures and Internet have no idea of your game or centers oil patters or characteristics. Your interpretation of your game and center maybe completely different than someone 1000 miles from you.
