I was bowling in the same tournament as Jason on Saturday. I used the Diva all day on the left lane, but it proved too strong for the right. I was bowling two handed, and in hindsight, I should have tried easing back on the revs or changing hand position. Honestly though, with a supremely sore shoulder, I was just trying to make shots.
For awhile, I was striking nearly every shot on the left lane with this ball, even with changing pairs. I was able to get my ball out to about 7 or so (and often had to) before hitting OB. I eventually jumped in front of the ball return on the right lane and had some success, but had trouble being consistent with the different timing. This ball just gives me the ball motion I am looking for most of the time. It was hard to put it away.
I also bowled my Sunday night league last night with it. This time I did try a different release to tame it on the high friction house shot. Shot 642. First game I went with the Diva/Misfit Pearl combo. Second game I had some issues and ended up with my low for the night (182). Third game I figured everything out and shot 248 (all Diva).
This will definitely be my benchmark ball on most conditions, whether I'm throwing two handed (which is my preference, as long as my shoulder allows it) or one handed. I hope they continue the line and add a Pearl and/or hybrid.
