Vandal drilling ?
« on: March 29, 2017, 11:58:29 AM »
Just ordered a new vandal on clearance from buddies. Was wondering what drilling would you recommend for a low speed tweener ? I bowl mostly on a THS 39 ft. pattern and usually play around 15 to 5. I would prefer it to be smooth and not jumpy off the pattern. My speed around 12-13 mph. Thanks for any input.

it depends on your PAP, I have the normal stack layout, Pin above ring finger.

Mine is 65 x 5 x 70-pin under the ring. I absolutely LOVE the Vandal. It is my benchmark ball. I have 3 NIB just because of how it fits into what i'm trying to do on the lanes. Consistent, reliable and I can make it work on just about everything except the extremes.

The vandal is a smoother reacting ball that will get through the front part of the lane and will not jump of the dry like most pear balls. I would suggest working with your Pro Shop operator to get the desired reaction.
