Just wanted to recommend the dude to anyone who is thinking of buying a benchmark ball. I have my dude sands to 4000 with a light coat of hand polish . Drilled pin in ring with cg straight down. No weight hole...speed 15-16. Revs 300ish. High axis. This ba is my favorite ball of all time. I thought I loved my terror.....which I do...but the dude is like a brother to the terro just more versatile . The terror is beautiful but I can't use on light or short conditions with my release ...the dude has the same super smooth and continuous move...but I can use it on anything ....gets great length and is so predictable its insane . Its rare I find balls that have strong predictable reactions and also keep great leng due to my release.....and the fact that its also not wet dry dependent and never gets squirty almost makes it a physically unique ball. My misfit is my weaker ball. And with the ebonite extended polish I have on it gets great length.....but is angular and therefore a little less control able .point being....the dude is a ball that you can control on all conditions and will be able to trust it to smash the pocket every time. Very responsive to surface changes as well as release changes ...so it would be a great ball foe everyone every game. Bowled a 250 and multiple games in the low 200s during practice last high on a fresh 42' house pattern....that is flatter.
....my house is more difficult compared to most house patterns ....

Just bought a second dude. Not sure whether to try a different layout with it or just hold onto it in case they stop making it . I love tge drilling I hwve on it now. So if anyone wih decision making piwer is watching...doont eer stop making tge dude

the dude is easily my favorite ball from dv8 to date...I can play it on just about anything. a true benchmark.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't seen a lane I can't use it on. Especially if you have experience with surface modification .. you could survive with this ball alone

love this ball to...ball hits so damn hard....also i just got the diva pearl so now my love story is complete ;D

I like that bal. My fiance uses a 14# diva and it is very similar to my terror

as i have not thrown or seen one thrown, i can only go by the video reviews i have seen, and the ball looks like a tank. the over all movement on it reminds me of my teal rhino pro (yeah really old school). smooth and controlled.
But i am partial to my diva as the best ball i have seen. sets up nice on multiple patterns and oil conditions.
