DV8 Freakshow solid review
« on: November 03, 2016, 07:20:25 AM »
The DV8 Freakshow solid is amazing for the price. I drilled mine 75x3.75x65 and was pleasantly surprised to see how much hook the ball had. The Freakshow solid hooks about 10 more boards for me compared to the pearl.  It reads the midlane and has very clean backend and keeps the pins low for great pin carry. You can use this ball on house patterns and animal patterns and you won’t be disappointed the Freakshow offers so much versatility!

Do you have the same layout on both the solid and pearl?

This new version of the Freak Show comes out of the box hooking and cuts through the heavier patterns much easier than the original. This ball as strong motion through the pins and keeps them low to the deck for good carry. The solid compliments the original when the original is pushing to far and not carrying  the corner pins this ball will get the job done.

The Freakshow Solid has a very strong reaction for a low end ball and out the box. My Rep rate is 390 ball speed is 15.7. I drilled mine 60x5 3/4 x30, pin is in the middle finger(i'm right handed) drilled out. For the condition it was a little strong so I polished it and hit with a 1500 pad.. Shot 300 the next with it. for the price you can't go wrong..

I've had the freakshow solid for a week. The pin is above the bridge and the cg is kicked out a bit (left handed). I have shot 279 and 265 with it so far. The ball is so smooth and works on all mediums. It has just the right amount of pop on the backend. Needs a little oil to work. I'm getting another one to keep when this one looses the reaction.

What can I say about the Freakshow Solid except this ball is a beast for the price! I drilled mine with a Rico drilling. The first game I used this ball in league I shot a 300 game/815 series with it! If you are looking for a ball that keeps on driving through the pins at a lower cost, this is the ball for you!
