A new entry for the season from DV8 is the Mantra. While the cover we have seen before in both the formulation and box finish in the DV8 Brutal Collision, it’s the core that makes this one a great choice for leagues where there is friction from the start or as a transition piece. Both one and two handers liked the shape during testing. The DV8 Mantra fits between the Trouble Maker Pearl and the Chill Pearl. For tournaments, this would be a transition ball and keeping angles a little closed with an asym is a unique ball motion. All the low core numbers suggest roll, the cover helps it get through the fronts. The colors on the Mantra are really nice, too.
