DV8 Nightmare....
« on: March 04, 2014, 06:02:36 PM »
I really like this ball and how it gets through the heads and the reaction on the back but will this ball respond on carry down.. This ball needs friction to start setting up ...  My house backends arent clean that is the reason for the question...  Noticed a dude Sanded it up 1000 in previous thread and that is really allot for such a strong ball..

1000 on a spinner isnt all that much surface, surface it up and it will read much better for you guaranteed

I have my nightmare hand sanded to 1000 and it works best for me that way
. I can only use.mine on heavier or long and flat oil due to my release . .so it doesn't get used much and I'll maybe sell it. I use my terror much more when there is heavy oil...andmy dude when there is medium oil . When back ends are wishy washy I use the misfit .

Thanks for the truth dudes...

It didnt seem that strong 2 me either...

Will try 1000 Sand as suggested....

Really appreciate your truthful responses..  They made it seem really strong but it needs friction and I need a heavy oil ball....  Its a great ball and gets through the heads great but need alittle more from the ball in response to heavy oil..

Would like all the suggestions about changing the cover stock...

I pushed it 1500 with a polish....

Now we have a heavy oil ball that responses faster to friction..
