DV8 Thug Corrupt
« on: July 24, 2015, 08:47:00 AM »
When Brunswick released their fall line up I was very excited to see the new motion of the cores and coverstocks I have heard about. I wanted to spend some time with DV8 since I used a lot of Brunswick and Radical pieces already. I drilled up the Thug and Unruly and loved the ball motion these balls provided. So when I find a line that works for me I tend to get the others as long as it don't overlap my arsenal. The Corrupt was a pleasant surprise. This ball in all three phases was phenomenal to say the least. 1st the cover is cleaner but not weaker by any sense of the word. This ball clear the heads extremely clean. Then when it get to mid lane this is when you see this ball go into another gear. Now come to the down lane motion. The cover is very sensitive to friction. This ball make a left turn as if someone kicked it. I haven't said this about any ball since I have been posting. This ball provided me with entry angle I haven't had in sometime. I was able to keep moving left and the ball kept coming back. I saw this and heard this in vids. The thing is this ball do just that. It compliment the other two very well. The Unruly is the front line piece. When it's not finishing well or you want to create more angle this is when you pull this baby out. It's stronger down lane than the Unruly and it's sooner than the Thug. When I was testing on a pair I was able to move down the line without missing a beat when I went from Unruly-Corrupt-Thug. This ball was what I needed to fill that gap between the Unruly and Thug.

If you haven't thrown a DV8 ball please try one today. You're missing out on one hell of a ball. I also wanted to take time to say that the Brunswick team knocked it out of the park with the new covers they have produced. I won't be surprised to see a few more DV8 pieces on racks this season come league and tourneys.
