Thug -vs- Endless Nightmare
« on: January 14, 2015, 01:38:47 AM »
Hello DV8ers,
For those of you that have thrown these two great balls (Thug/Endless Nightmare) how much difference is there? The specs are very similar but it seems that the cover is the

main difference and since I already have the Endless Nightmare I was wondering if I should pass on the Thug. I am looking for a ball to open up the lanes...

Thanks, Jake
Now throwing pretty much all flavors...

The Thug wasn't bad. I think it and the Endless would be very similar. The Ruckus or Schizo would be a better choice and likely the new Unruly for openning the lane up more
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

The Thug has been popular around my area, however, I do not have one, so I cannot really give any opinion other than it looks good.

I have the Ruckus and is one of the few balls I can consistently move in and it still recover without burning up.

I am hearing the Unruly is supposed to be a hook monster!!

I have the Ruckus as well and couldn't be happier with it. I agree that it never seems to burn up. I'm excited about the new Thug Unruly as everything I've seen or read on it leads me to believe that it will be a ton.

On my Tuesday night league Modified House Shot pattern, i have been starting with the Endless Nightmare (pin Up) to brun the hole, the in Game 3 or when i see the Endless burn up, i go to the Pin Down THUG. For me, Left Handed around 350 Revs and 16.75 Speed this has been a great combination. Not sure they compare to each other with the Solid Covberstock and the Hybrid Coverstock....hope that helps.
