DV8 Deviant Pearl
« on: August 11, 2016, 01:45:31 PM »
Hello everyone DV8 Staffer here to let you know about the Deviant Pearl. My original Deviant I went with pin up above ring finger which I usually do for my best pin up layout and the ball ended up being a beast with a big weight block it always hit from 1st arrow to 5th. I wanted to try something different with the Pearl so I went pin down with a hole and I have also tried this layout with a rave on but I am getting to love this layout much more as the new Deviant pearl is out of this world with control though the fronts and continuous motion through the pin. Looking forward to doing some ball videos on facebook soon please find me on there and add me for reviews and feedback on all companies.
This post is the opinion of the writer and not of the Brunswick corporation

The deviant Pearl, what can I say....this ball is amazing!
I drilled my Deviant Pearl 5 1/2 inches off my axis with no hole, which puts the pin above the fingers more towards the middle finger.
The length on this ball is very good. It gets down the lane very nicely through the heads, it starts revving towards the back of the mid lane and on the backends the ball has a VERY strong and powerful change of direction.
One thing that I am really impressed with this ball is how well it reads the lane pattern. I threw my Deviant Pearl on just a simple 39' house shot, and I was able to stay on the same line for about a game and a half before making any minor changes. So I was able to stay lined up more often.
So if your looking for a ball in the medium oil range with some length, this is your ball, the Deviant Pearl!
