Are the cores on DV8 balls the same for 12 lbs as they are for 15 lbs? Many manufacturers say that their lighter balls have a 'generic' core, but I don't see that DV8 mentions that anywhere in their info.

I believe they use a different core as well for lighter weight balls. One manufacture that I know for sure uses same core in 12 lb balls is Motiv. Even for them I can't say for sure whether that is true across the spectrum of their offerings. (Translation: not entirely sure about Ascent balls).

Thanks for the info about Motiv. I know the Ebonite Cyclone advertises it has the same core from 10-16 lbs. I'm still hoping that a DV8 staffer can say for sure. I'm interested in a Misfit ball.
