Grudge Pearl and Freak Show Solid quick thoughts
« on: January 16, 2017, 02:06:34 PM »
I got both of these balls drilled up this weekend. Was able to throw a couple games on my lunch break today and I'm impressed.

My Grudge Pearl was going sideways on the fresh shot and the Freak Show Solid was really heavy rolling.

I hit the Freak Show with a 4000 pad by hand since the out of box 1500 would have no chance on our house shot and it really went through the pins well. I'm looking forward to the next tournament I bowl in Vegas, I feel like I'll be throwing the Freak Show a lot

Update.

Bowled on Viper this past Sunday and the Freak Show Solid helped make it look easy. Played around 15-5 and kept inching inside with the transition. Outside of a couple pulls and a couple that were slow, I was locked in on the pocket.

If you need a heavy rolling ball that isn't jumpy on clean backends, I definitely recommend the Freak Show Solid. The cover needs oil as it rolls fine on our house shot, but it's shined bowling on Viper and the 2016 Masters pattern for me.
