Hi,

Can anybody give me a comparison between these two balls as a benchmark?

I have used the Massive Damage a ton, but have only sold the Marauder and watched it on various conditions.

Too me, they would probably be pretty close as far as where you'd play, but the Marauder might possibly be slightly more angular on some conditions.

Good topic, the Marauder is a little longer and more even for me.  I currently have one drilled 45x3.5x45 as my benchmark ball.

The activator+ pearl used on the MD and now currently available on the pink/black Karma is by far one of my favorite all time covers. I have had many domestic and overseas bowling balls that used this cover. It is very forgiving and very surface adjustment friendly. Polished or dull it works so well on any condition and at the price point it is available in I don't think you can go wrong.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

In my experience, the Massive Damage and Marauder have similar shapes on the lane and work great as benchmark balls. They both have a pearl cover that read mid lane well. They both work good for house shots or sport shots. The Marauder is more continuous downlane than the Massive Damage.

@BrandonH, I think the Marauder is a "hybrid "...

Massive Damage is a pearl, Original Marauder is a hybrid.  The new Marauder Madness is a solid.
