misfit pearl vs tropical STORM
« on: May 21, 2013, 09:33:35 AM »
How similar are these two bowling balls. I want to be clear that everyone understands m referring to the original tropicals not the heat or breeze. I know my rev rate says i shouldn't need a ball like that but my other balls read too early, urethane doesn't recover, and my scream is supposed to be weak down the lane. My tropical storm is the perfect ball. I can use it on medium oil patterns with no skid problems. It has that violent backend motion that i need but this ball is vasty underweight and has a crack developing. I throw 15 and this ball is 13. So are these two similar enough, or should i just buy a tropical breeze and set it up to have a strong backend?

Misfit will be stronger on the backend...
Moves clean through the heads and strong arc.. Dont let the ad fool you because this ball will hook. I had to change the cover stock to 4000 and drill left handed for dry and it still turns on friction...

Did you have a tropical storm and did you drill them similarly?

You canNOT make a comparison of 2 bowling balls unless they're drilled the same and thrown side by side....at the same time
