Grudge!!!
« on: December 30, 2015, 09:05:30 PM »
This ball looks exactly like what I'm looking for.  This is exciting!  I'm thinking this will be a perfect pair with the Thug Life. I will be one of the first in line.

I just drilled the new ball by DV8 THE GRUDGE and used it in league play right out of the box and shot a 731 series. This is a monster hooking ball that will not quit hooking. This is an ideal ball for heavy oiled lanes and every serious ball should have this ball in their bag. DV8 has done it again!!!

I drilled mine te other night and was able to toss it in league tonight. Wow, this ball is strong and continuous. It is definitely a ball for oil. Thankfully we have a pretty good amount of oil for our scratch league. I was able to use the Grudge all 3 games. 277-265-257 just missing 800 with 799. I made a small move in game 2 and should've made another move in during game 3. I was thoroughly impressed. This has the ability to handle heavy volumes like the Thug Unruly but is more hook and continuation.

So essentially, the Grudge is the DV8 Nirvana?

IMO, the Grudge is stronger. It's a foot or 2 earlier and stronger total hook. It's definitely stronger than my Nirvana.

Would that be due to the Grudge being 1000 grit and Nirvana 1500. I would like to see both drilled the same with same surface and see which is better cuz as of right now nothing I have comes close to my Nirvana far as strength and hook

The 1000 grit surface could be some of what I am seeing. I sanded my Nirvana to 500/1000 because of our house shot and my slightly speed dominant style. If you have a Nirvana and it handles what you need it for, then I would get a ball to compliment or fill in your arsenal somewhere else. Maybe you need a look like a Vandal or Deviant or Diva Divine. For me, I match up better with the Grudge, my Nirvana would be a ball down and a little longer.

No it's a pin up layout. Pin about an inch from ring finger and mb roughly 2 inches from thumb.
