Just received both balls and want to figure out how they compare to each other. I know they are both top line heavy oilers, how do they differ. Im planning on keeping one 2000 or so and polishing one. Only question is which one to polish and which one to keep dull.

I also dont think that polishing dv8's version of pieces would give enough consistent reaction.  Having had a number of their pieces, I experienced a lot of over/under reactions, and had better looks with a 4000 Grit pad.

Understand your point, but again as I already mentioned dv8's equipment is already clean, and polishing over imo, could backfire, I truly believe that.

With constant designs that Phil and Mo have designed Radicals pieces, you can get almost ANY type of reaction that you seek (drilling on asymmetric, and symmetric pieces, along with surface or polish).

The op will make a decision, but to me this one makes more sense and if safer.

how high is your track? Those are some LONG pin distances if you are high track.

I track right next to my fingers and thumb. My pap is 5 11/16 x 1/4^. I find that pin high drilling work best and whenever I drill low pins they flare over thumb so maybe a pin in index finger to get bowtie around my finger. I'm going to remeasure my pap since my release has changed recently.
