...Reckless or Terror...
« on: January 03, 2013, 08:13:46 PM »
Any suggestions from you DV8 peeps  8)

I'm looking to get a pearl to add to my DV8 arsenal. So from what I've read in peoples reviews the Reckless is a pretty strong pearl and so I'm sure the Terror is a pretty strong pearl also.

For those that have thrown the two what were the differences? or is the Terror a major upgrade from the Reckless?

Thanks,

I saw the Terror more angular and can handle more volume. The Reckless is a lower load pearl, in my eyes it acted like a solid on the lanes. It was smoother compared a lot of the other stuff in the line. If you're trying to get a ball where you can move in and open up the lane, Terror. If you're wanting a ball that more predictable on the backend, Reckless.

Hope that helps...

I agree with Nick on both the Terror and Reckless. The Reckless reacted more like a solid with a smooth transition when reaching the friction, and the Terror has a stronger flip on the backend.

Jake, Good luck with the Terror.
