I threw the new DV8 Dude for the first time tonight. All I can say is WOW! This is a look that I have never seen from DV8 before. The layout I used for the Dude was 50* x 4.5 x 30* which puts the pin above my ringer finger with the CG shifted about 3/4" right. I saw very clean and easy length with a strong and continuous motion on the back part of the lane. I used the Dude for all 3 league games tonight and moved a total of 3 boards on the approach and 3 with my eyes. The Dude never fought any carry down and never saw the early friction later on in the night. For the league bowler, this should definitely be the first ball out of your bag. Tournament bowlers will get a lot of use from the Dude when the stronger Ruckus starts to be a touch too early or when you're bowling on normal length & normal volume patterns. DV8 & Brian Graham have hit a home run with this ball!
