VENDETTA MAXX
One of the most successful series in the bowling game, a bowler can build a complete arsenal around the Vendettas. The latest installment, The VENDETTAâ„¢ MAXX, introduces TRU-GRIT Particle, a "just right" light-load particle to a newly refined reactive base. This new coverstock improves friction and predictability in higher volumes of oil. This balanced formula produces an early roll without the burnout typical of particle equipment.

When the lanes are giving you trouble... show them who's da boss! Vendetta MAXX!

Dynothane was nice enough to send myself a Vendetta Maxx to test out:

Original Ball Specs: 3” pin / 3.25 oz of top weight
Drilling: 4” pin x 3” CG with pin below fingers and a 31/32" extra hole drilled 3" deep and located 5-3/16 from grip center on midline / VAL.
Style: High rev player with a 12.5” track circumference and a high track (5-1/2” x 1-3/8”)

Test Condition (ball in box condition):
What could be considered 2nd shift on our THS…surface is synthetic heads with wood backends. The oil volume in my center has been higher the last month or so which has made playing in the middle of the lane harder.  Typically most bowlers have been trying to slow their speed down or make darn sure they get it to the dry at the right time.  Definitely been interesting watching people try to attack this shot.  Given the drilling and ball characteristics I knew that this ball would work great around 3rd or 4th arrow.  Well the ball never backed up on my like some of the other equipment.  The ball picks up a roll a sooner than my Thing Lives, but that's partially due to the drilling.  Ball rolls extremely well and keeps me in play in the middle of the lane.  When the shot breaks down some and I am forced in deeper corner pins do become a problem, but that's where the Thing Lives comes to life.

This is definitely a great addition to the Dyonthane line.  It more than takes the place of the old Vendetta Particle and it seems to me more versatile.  Ball has that classic particle midlane read, but with a nice heavy reactive arc back to the hole.

This turned out to be a shocker. The Maxx is now my main oil in the heads ball. A slight tweek to the cover (added a bit of surface). The Maxx allows for the track to be opened up and set for transition..

Those looking for a ball that can handle oil of front..this is your beast!!

I accidentally got this ball...I just placed a low bid on a HMW X comp on ebay, and happened to win this ball so I couldn't complain.  It has about a 4 inch pin, and is drilled label leverage.

Anyway, this is a great ball on either a freshly oiled lane, or for when all the oil get's pushed into the backends - combats carrydown pretty effectively.  Once it takes off it keeps goin and going and going.  Great ball for throwing up the middle of the lane, be forewarned that if it goes too far outside the angle get's too sharp and you're sure to be cursed with 10 pins.  Otherwise this ball carries pretty well just as long as you're fairly consistent (I'm still working on that part).

I would definitely reccomend this to anybody that needs a STRONG ball to play left to right when the lanes are flooded.

Previously I bowled with an Ebonite Tornado Warning with a normal grip.  Got dragged into a league and all of a sudden I was struggling to overcome the oil and not hooking at all where I would on normal dry lanes.  I was averaging very low and only starting to overcome the oil by the third game each night once the track had been worn down by other bowlers.  I figured it was time to step it up with a stronger hooking ball and a fingertip grip.

I ordered my Vendetta Maxx and have been doing much better since.  I'm sure it is a combination of the grip and the coverstock, but I no longer struggle in the freshly oiled lanes, and now it seems I bowl my best game first.  What a concept!   I have found this ball to be very forgiving, which is good since I am new to the fingertip layout.  I even find that if I miss my mark by throwing too far right, this ball will dig in and still come back to the pocket, which amazes me everytime it happens.   I'm very happy with this ball.

This ball was given to me by a member of the PBA road crew for helping them unload the trucks before the U.S. Open. I really had no need to get a new ball  and since Dynothane is not too popular in my area, it just sat in my closet for the last few months. For some reason i decided to give the ball a chance and got it drilled up today. I only had time to throw two shots of practice with it before my league, yet i decided to use it instead of one of my other balls.

I was greatly surprised by how well i did with this ball, i shot a 596 which is pretty good for me for the first time ever using a new ball. The ball got down the lane pretty well, revved up nicely and crushed the pins.
