Drilled it up 4.5 x 3.5 with the pin very high and left about 0.75 ounces side weight. At first, I got very good length, and then from the break point to the pins covered more boards than any ball I’ve ever thrown. It was very impressive, but hard to control. I brought the side weight down to 0 to rein it in a bit. Let’s make this real simple. I’ve been bowling for 36 years, and this is the best ball I’ve ever owned. I bowl in a five house travel league, and this is the only ball I’ve needed to pull out of the bag. Unbelievably versatile, dependable and reliable. It’s just one of those balls that gives you a lot of confidence. It struggles a bit on a flood, and there are probably better balls for a desert, but on anything in between it’s a player. The guys at Dynothane really outdid themselves with this one. If you don’t have one, you’re giving pins away. And it’s not just me. Another gentleman in our league was on the receiving end of what this thing can do, and showed up two weeks later with one in his bag. I asked him if he’d thrown it yet, and was told that he’d just picked it up from the pro shop on the way to league that night. First three games out of the box? 300/788 for a guy who hadn’t had an honor score in “quite a while†(his words). The bottom line? Good length, strong finish, hits like a truck, and you can use it almost anywhere. And it’s even a mid price! What more could you ask for?
