Defective Dyno-Thane Tour Ultra's
« on: October 12, 2005, 12:06:40 PM »
Purchased a pair of S-3002 Tour Ultra's from ebay and the Heel Lock is misaligned and will not allow the heel to set properly on the shoe.  The guy  wants me to pay for shipping back to him for the defective pair of shoes he sold me.  Why should I have to pay for shipping?  I paid for a brand new pair of shoes and have already paid for shipping.  Anyone else have this problem and know if Dyno-Thane will exchange them for me, after all, it was their Quality Control area that let these defects slip out the door...

Hard to say whether Dynothane will get involved.  Some Ebay sellers get ahold of seconds or blems and don't advertise them as such.  I'm sure if you bought them through an approved supplier or local pro shop that they would replace them no questions asked.

This is the e-mail I received from Dyno-Thane customer service.  And I feel they are right, the online pro-shop should pay for the shipping cost to exchange this defective pair of shoes.

You are going to need to get your online source to pay for shipping I'm sure they would be happy to exchange your shoes for you.

Dyno-Thane contacted by the owner of the pro shop I purchased shoes from.  Everything is taken care of, quickly, and I am one happy customer!!!  Great job by Dyno-Thane and the owner of the Pro Shop!!
