Title: 357 MAG
Post by: jimensminger on August 21, 2006, 03:58:34 AM
Drilled and threw this beauty all weekend, pin at 4", just over the ring,      x 4 5/8" with the cg in the palm. no X holes. I wanted a little more length that my 44 gives me, and still get a ball that will corner...HOLY COW BATMAN, This ball is 'butter' through the fronts,...and dyno-mite on the back end. The pearl cover, and the new weight block match up perfectly for an old guy like me that has a little too much hand, and a little less ball speed than JOE FLINGER,..I can actually stroke this ball, and make it pop on the back with little effort..I'll say this just once more...The Vendetta is the best ball on the market for the price. PREORDER one now. This ball looks great, reacts great,..and is affordable. jim

Jim can you make any brand ball look bad??? I hear from upper level bowlers how good you are, one guy ranks you in the top 300 bowlers in the nation. Good luck and keep winning the dough lol

Is the 357 supposed to be a pearl-only ball with the same cover and core as the 44?  Maybe this was covered elsewhere and I missed it.

The motor is the same,..the tires are tweaked,..PEARL Tru-Grip R cover, for more POP.
Same great price.

NO Jeremy I don't need a new bass boat.

if its Tru-Grip tweaked, it will not be a true dry lane ball, cover would be too strong.

Tekneek, When you say "Solid Pearl"  Are you saying it is the same type of Half/Half Cover like the HE, CM, and 44?  Or is it just a Pearl like the Energy?

"solid pearl" = all pearl.

That's what I wanted to hear.  I'm psyched.  As soon as it hits the shelf I'm getting one.

We use "solid" in a specific way in bowling that's not entirely compatible with the more general notion of "solid = all".  Oops.

Shelly speak English, you lost me in the translation, please in laymen's terms.
Remember I can barely walk and chew gum at the sametime.

That's easy.  It's step with the right foot, then chew once.  Step with the left foot.  Chew with the right foot.  Step with the left gum.  Then, umm, hmmm...maybe it is more difficult than I thought.

It would if your job requires you to chew gum.  In that case, you may have grounds for a lawsuit if you weren't properly trained to walk and chew gum at the same time.  Was there a sign up that said "Caution: Do not run into wall"?  Maybe we need to get some WUI (Walking Under the Influence) laws passed, banning the act of walking and chewing gum.  There could even be a group of activists, MAWACGATST (Mothers Against Walking And Chewing Gum At The Same Time), who could hold meetings where tearful parents can share their stories of losing their beloved children to gum-chewing-and-walking accidents.  They happen all the time, they're just not reported because of a conspiracy by the powerful Wrigley Corporation.
